Made-up teams and scores, to show how a finished season looks.
In a 5 team round robin, every team plays every other team once. That's 4 games for each team and 10 games in all, spread over 5 rounds with 2 games per round.
With an odd number of teams, one team sits out each round. Each team has exactly one bye. If you'd rather nobody sits, add a practice team or schedule the free team as a referee or scorekeeper for that round.
For a weekly league, each round is one week: 5 rounds is a 5 week season. For a one-day event, play the rounds in order. If you have fewer than 2 courts, play each round's games in the order listed before starting the next round.
Want each team to play everyone twice? Play the whole schedule again with the teams swapped, for 10 rounds and 20 games. The second page of the PDF is a results grid with a team list, so you can record every score and add up wins and losses for standings.
10 games. Each team plays 4, and every game involves two teams, so it's 5 × 4 ÷ 2 = 10.
5 rounds. With 5 teams, one team has a bye each round, so it takes 5 rounds, not 4.
2 to play a whole round at once. With fewer, play the round's games one after another; the schedule still works, it just takes longer.
Most leagues use head-to-head result first, then point differential, then points allowed. Decide before the season starts and print it with the schedule.
