Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of the Sportsgrove platform. By using Sportsgrove you agree to this policy.

For All Users

You may not use Sportsgrove to:

Illegal Activity

• Violate any federal, state, local, or international law
• Facilitate fraud, money laundering, or other financial crimes
• Process payments for illegal goods or services

Harmful Content

• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure

Harassment and Abuse

• Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other users
• Transmit hate speech or content that discriminates based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Share another person's private information without their consent

Misrepresentation

• Impersonate another person or organization
• Create fake accounts or provide false information
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

For Organization Administrators

In addition to the above, organization administrators may not:

Financial Misconduct

• Collect registration fees for leagues or events that do not exist or will not be held
• Retain registration fees without delivering the promised services without offering refunds
• Use the platform to process payments unrelated to sports league management

Player Data Misuse

• Use player contact information for purposes unrelated to league administration
• Share player data with third parties without appropriate consent
• Send unsolicited commercial communications to players

Youth Safety

• Assign coaches or volunteers to youth teams without appropriate background checks (where required by your organization's policies)
• Allow unauthorized adults to access youth participant information
• Use youth participant data for any purpose other than administering youth leagues

Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. We may also report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.
