In a 13 team round robin, every team plays every other team once. That's 12 games for each team and 78 games in all, spread over 13 rounds with 6 games per round.
With an odd number of teams, one team sits out each round. Each team has exactly one bye. If you'd rather nobody sits, add a practice team or schedule the free team as a referee or scorekeeper for that round.
For a weekly league, each round is one week: 13 rounds is a 13 week season. For a one-day event, play the rounds in order. If you have fewer than 6 courts, play each round's games in the order listed before starting the next round.
